THEFT OF MOTOR CYCLE

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a theft of motor cycle that occurred on Roydsdale Way on Thursday 19th March at 15:20hrs

VICTIM HAS PARKED MOTORBIKE IN CAR PARK, SECURED WITH STEERING LOCK. VEHICLE HAS ENTERED CAR PARK VIA FRONT GATE.  THEY HAVE APPROACHED THE MOROTBIKE, TWO PEOPLE HAVE GOT OUT OF THE CAR WITH BALACLAVA’S ON, THEY HAVE BROKEN THE STEERING LOCK OFF THE MOTORBIKE AND THEN PUSHED THE MOTORBIKE INTO THE VEHICLE AND MADE OFF WITH IT UNSEEN.

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicle security.
